Chinese government censors internet
China’s censorship of the internet is a big issue all over the world and this is obviously a cause for concern. And just this week, there’s another issue surrounding internet censorship in the country.
Apparently, the word “Egypt” has been censored by some blogging sites in China. This stemmed from the Communist Party’s apprehension about issues relating to political reform, the clamor for democracy and public disorder that has been happening in other countries. This kind of censorship is being done because the government feels that people that read about democracy may be encouraged to voice their support for it.
